MEDICAL WASTE
A key characteristic of our Batch Gasification system is its clean emissions and excellent quality ash.  The following characteristics collectively contribute to the excellent emissions of this process.

LARGE GASIFICATION CHAMBER
The 1 to 10 ton capacity batch sized primary chamber produces an environment of extremely “quiet” combustion.  Multiple 10 ton chambers can be combined for larger capacities.   Most other designs use small chambers requiring continuous waste feeding.

UNDISTURBED WASTE BED
This “batch” feature allows an environment of undisturbed waste materials.  Instead of constant commotion and disturbance caused by continuous feeding, the waste is never moved from the instant of light off.

UNIFORM, CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE
The large chamber allows for easier temperature and gasification control of the typical non-uniform waste.   The large hot face of the waste in the Primary Chamber is being constantly exposed to temperature.  Therefore the “average” waste characteristic of the large face changes very little compared to a continuous feed system, making control much more uniform.

EMISSION STANDARDS
It is easier to clean gasses which are already very clean from the gasification process.  We can guarantee with high confidence that emissions following our equipment will more easily meet all standards than any other type of gasifier or incinerator.  Most of our systems have not required any additional auxiliary scrubbing equipment.

COMPLETE BURNOUT WITH EXCELLENT ASH

Note the whitish ash color, indicating almost 100% total carbon burnout.  Remaining ash is minimized (98% reduction is common) and nonhazardous for safe local disposal.

VERY LOW LABOR REQUIRED TO OPERATE
ONE MAN can remove the ash and reload the Primary Chamber in ONE HOUR per day.  The system operates automatically with no manning and under computer control for 23 hours to the next day's batch.
